Poor little snow covered flowers!

There are signs everywhere

Another sign that Spring is really going to finally arrive- these daffodils in our front yard. I love daffodils, they are my mom's favorite flower so they remind me of her.

There is hope!

We've had crazy weather here the last few weeks. I'm beginning to think that spring will never get here. Today I noticed these buds and it made me feel much better.

 

Blanketed

We woke up to a bunch of fresh snow this morning. The new snow and the bright blue skies made for a beautiful day!

I know I'm in the minority with my love of the snow but it covers up the brown, dead grass and makes everything pretty again. This time of year it melts off the roads as soon as the sun hits it so it's not a pain to drive it. If it's still going to be cold I want it to snow as much as possible. Of course I'd rather it warm up but since I live in Utah I know that's not going to happen.



Sunset on the Mountains

This was my view as I left work tonight. I love the way the sunset across the valley lights up the mountains.

Blue Skies

I feel slightly bad posting this picture when so many of my friends are being buried by snow right now but we very rarely get such clear days this time of year so I just had to do it.

Silence

I love the silence that accompanies a snowstorm.
