My old phone has been freezing and freaking out on me lately. I have insurance on it so I went in to see what kind of replacement phone I could get. Turns out I was due for an upgrade so now I have the newest, fastest version of my old phone. I'm a very happy girl :)

Rae was trying to finish The Book Thief last night while we were at the book signing so every free second she had while we were in line at the event was spent reading. She didn't finish but she got pretty far.

Brownie was not a fan of the white stuff on the ground this morning so he escaped to higher ground.

I went to a concert at the Jeanne Wagner Theater in Salt Lake City tonight. This took up an entire 2 story wall in the theater.

A Sad Day

I dropped my point and shoot camera last night at a concert and it broke. I take my camera with me everywhere with me so this is quite traumatic for me. I guess I will be camera shopping this weekend.

My Denim Quilt

My cousins made this for me several years ago and I love it. They made it an American theme because they know what a patriotic sap I am. It's the perfect lap quilt and keeps me warm and snuggly in my cold apartment in the wintertime.

The snowstorm we got last night brought some visitors to our house this afternoon.



Running on Empty

Literally and figuratively. Refilling the actual gas tank was easy (although a bit expensive). I think I need a fabulous vacation to refill my psychological tank. Someplace in Europe would be perfect!

My mom bought me this little teapot. It only holds 2 cups of water- isn't it cute?!?! I love it! And I love that mom searched ebay until she found one just because I commented on needing a little teapot. She's the best!
